HP-UX System Administrator
REMOTE POSITION
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HPUX Environment Specialist to join our IT team. This role focuses on managing, maintaining, and optimizing our HPUX OS and related hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring high availability and performance of the HPUX systems and applications.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Administer and manage HPUX servers and related hardware.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security enhancements.
- Ensure system integrity through regular backups and recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance and resource utilization.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement best practices for system optimization and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Provide timely support and solutions for system-related incidents.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure the security of the HPUX environment by implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Provide detailed documentation for system upgrades and migrations.
- Work closely with application developers and other IT teams to support HPUX-hosted applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
- Extensive experience with HPUX system administration.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with server hardware and networking concepts.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Position Overview:
- We are seeking a qualified Associate and/or a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to support the regular release cycles of the client’s Enterprise Application suite through the execution of automated test scripts.
- The QA Engineer will create automated test scripts based on existing test cases, maintain the library of existing automated test scripts, execute test scripts using sauce labs, report defects results identified through automated testing activity, and report overall results and metrics related to the automated test execution cycles.
- The QA Engineer will be working on various projects and products including: ServiceNow, Maximo, Workday, Propworks, xMatters, SharePoint and Dell Boomi. They will facilitate testing of applications including regression testing, functional testing and user acceptance testing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Document, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases related to the regular release cycles of the Client’s Enterprise Application suite.
Knowledge and Skills
- The Quality Assurance Engineer must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Team Services Visual Studio (VSTS) as well as Selenium using Python.
- Experience using Robot framework and Sauce Labs is a plus, and experience testing any of the Client’s enterprise systems including: ServiceNow, Maximo, Workday, PROPworks, xMatters, SharePoint and Boomi. The ideal candidate should have experience developing test automation in a DevOps/Agile environment.
